I’m a cinematographer with over a decade of experience in film and advertising. I approach my craft with the belief that a camera does more than capture images, it reflects a perspective, a way of feeling and understanding the world before putting it into words.
Whenever possible, I work with natural light, treating it as a collaborator rather than just a source. I’m as intentional with shadows as I am with light; what remains unseen in the frame matters just as much as what is brought into view.
My commercial work carries the same rigour as my narrative work. Every project, regardless of format, deserves a fully considered visual language.
My style isn’t limited to natural light alone, I adapt to whatever best serves the project. Whether a scene calls for something bright and vibrant or soft and moody, I shape the lighting accordingly. Every light choice becomes part of the story being told.
I value creative collaborations and see them as a way to refresh perspective and push beyond the familiar. Every artist brings a unique voice and way of storytelling, and working together is, for me, an essential part of refining and evolving my craft.
I’m also a certified Trinity 2 operator, having earned my certification under Curt Schaller. This has expanded the way I tell stories, giving me greater freedom of camera movement and allowing for more dynamic, expressive visuals.
I became a certified ARRI Trinity 2 operator in 2022, and have since worked on a range of narrative films and commercial projects. Working with the Trinity has given me an additional visual language, using movement to express emotion, which allows me to approach storytelling in a more nuanced and distinctive way.
